Milestone for Maximum Resilience: credi2 Receives TÜV Certification for Business Continuity Management (ISO 22301)

We are setting new standards in reliability.

“As the first company in our sector, we have successfully completed the accredited certification for Business Continuity Management (BCM), thereby offering our partners demonstrable operational resilience.”

A Milestone for Stability

In a world increasingly characterized by digital processes and volatility, reliability is the most important currency. We are extraordinarily pleased to announce a significant milestone in the history of credi2: Having already established our processes in 2024, the accredited certificate from TÜV now confirms—through an independent, state-approved body—the effectiveness and compliance of our measures at the highest level.

We are particularly proud of our pioneering role: credi2 is the first company in its direct competitive environment to hold this accredited certificate. This is more than just an award; it is a promise of sustainable stability to our partners and customers.

What does ISO 22301 (BCM) mean in practice?

The ISO 22301 certification is far more than just a certificate on the wall. It is the global standard ensuring that a company remains operational even in the event of a crisis. The standard sets strict requirements to restore and maintain critical business functions as quickly as possible following a serious disruption.

For our partners and us, this means the guarantee of operational capability even in scenarios such as:

  • Targeted cyber attacks
  • Widespread infrastructure failures
  • Natural disasters or other unforeseen events

To achieve this, we have implemented concrete, far-reaching measures:

  1. Identification of critical business processes: We know exactly which workflows are indispensable for us and our partners.
  2. Definition of maximum acceptable downtime: There are clearly defined time windows for recovery for each of these processes.
  3. Development of robust recovery strategies: We have implemented plans that take immediate effect in an emergency.

Driven by Passion

Our goal was not only to proactively fulfill the already high regulatory requirements of the financial sector but to guarantee maximum operational security for our partners and customers.

The path to certification required significant internal effort over several months. We rigorously tested our systems and processes. This included conducting comprehensive Business Impact Analyses (BIA), intensive employee training, and developing and simulating realistic disruptions, scenarios, and emergencies.

Holistic Security through Synergy

A decisive advantage of our approach is the seamless integration of the new BCM system into credi2's existing management system.

The ISO 22301 certification does not stand alone; it works in close synergy with our existing ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management.

The result for our partners: A holistic safeguarding of our collaboration at the highest level. We now demonstrably guarantee both the comprehensive protection of all corporate assets (ISO 27001) and the organizational resilience (ISO 22301) of our services.

Conclusion

With the ISO 22301 certification, credi2 clearly positions itself as a partner committed to stability and reliability. We are ready for the challenges of the future and guarantee our customers that their business is in safe hands with us—today and tomorrow.
