- The official Apple subscription program for merchants in Germany and Austria, such as Cyberport, Gravis and McSHARK

How we work:
We are using a state-of-the-art tech stack with React, Typescript, Next.JS in the frontend and Java, Spring in the backend. Our solutions are fully cloud-based, hosted on AWS. We strive to improve our test coverage for our business logic using integration tests based on Java, JUnit and H2, and our frontend coverage using Selenium/Java. We work in small and agile teams where each individual is valued on a personal as well as a professional level. We give you the possibility to shape and contribute to our solutions and also our testing infrastructure, so you can see your impact on our projects with every commit you make. We live flat hierarchies – location-wise (the whole company works in a modern open office space) – as well as when it comes to decisions. We encourage every team member to provide their ideas – on technological decisions as well as on input on how to improve our products. Your core responsibilities as a Quality Assurance & Automation Engineer:
- Understand the product end-2-end from frontend to business-logic
- Act as a part of our end-to-end software development of new and existing features (from refinement to deployment/operation)
- Review technical and business requirements (incl. acceptance criteria) and design robust and reusable test scenarios
- Decide together with the team which parts to test manually and where to automate
- Manage the execution of manual and automated test scenarios and report results
- Integrate test scenarios with our overall test and automation strategy
- Act as a point of contact for any issues, product defects or bugs
- Maintain documentation related to the QA stream
- Ensure the high quality of our products and improve existing QA processes
- Support our team leads in establishing and maintaining proper QA practices
What you will bring with you:
- Profound experience as a Quality Assurance & Automation Engineer
- Expertise in backend testing (manual and automated)
- A clear understanding of the technical testing process and fundamental testing techniques
- Know-how with SQL, REST APIs, Java (basic), and Selenium (preferred)
Highly welcome (but not a must):
- A deep comprehension of financial services, applications, and workflows
- Experience with Test Automation
- Hands-on experience in the following technologies: JUnit, Cucumber, Postman, SoapUI, Katalon, mobile and application testing, BDD, TDD, Docker and Jenkins

Payment:
The minimum salary according to the Collective Agreement for employees of service providers in the field of automatic data processing and information technology (IT-KV) for a full-time position is EUR 3,455.00 (gross). For legal reasons, we only state minimum salaries according to the collective agreement in our job advertisements. We talk about everything else in person.
